Best Photos

The some of the best photos so far i think i have got are below.
This is the photo of house as i want to show in the beggining of my narrative as drew in my sketches before.

This is the photo of the door bell, i am going to include in my narrative, giving you the clue of someone rang the door-bell.
This is the photo i am thinking of including as when person at home approaches to open the door.

Second Photo shoot

While taking photos for first shoot for this project, i got the idea of what i wanted in my photos. As first i took photos in the evening which came out bit bright in the images and as compared to my narrative story it should be bit dark. here's my second photo shoot's contact sheets.

Research

Precedent
This photograph is taken by Helene Havard, is a French photographer who attempts to portray meaningful images beyond what her camera alone can capture. Helene specializes in still photography on movie sets and streets, as well as the art of photo manipulation.
By taking different images and combining them, Helene is able to create a new world constructed from her imagination.
I liked her this photo because the photo makes you strong feeling if you keep looking at it. It gives you the feeling of childhood lonliness, destruction and lifeless.
This is another photograph by Helene Havard. In this photograph she is trying to show beauty in it and with the beams of light radiating through the broken clouds, there’s an added emphasis to the sacredness of the building.
I liked this photo because the light coming from the clouds onto the building makes this photo alot better than it would normally.

This is also an another photograph by Helene havard. in this she demonstrates her ability to capture meaning without the use of photo manipulation.
I like this photo because
its composition contains a sad irony and then on the wall, a grumpy scrooge overlooks someone with no place to sleep.

I liked his this photograph because its so natural and perfect scaling. The railway track in the middle invites you in the photo. It gives a unending destiny to the photo.

Research

This photograph is taken by Peter Marlow. He's a architect, interior designer, author and furniture designer. He designed Jigsaw Store, Knightsbridge, London the Cool Britannica temporary exhibition space on Horse Guards Parade, London, and the interiors of several theme bars and restaurants in Japan.
I liked his this photo because this photo gives you the feeling of relaxing, tension free and peace. It seems like the person is resting after loads of work.

This photograph is of Gregory Crewdson. He is is an American photographer who is best known for elaborately staged, surreal scenes of American homes and neighborhoods.
I liked his this photograph because it gives you the pretty strong feeling of sadness and lonliness. I quite liked the bedroom scene. This is kind of what i want to take in my pictures. The photograph which gives you strong feelings.

Project 1, Proposal

For my project 1 for narrative photographs i thought of a story- A person is sleeping than suddenly door bell rings but when person opens the door, there's no-one there. I am still working on the climax of this story. I liked this story because its short, simple and suspense. I quite liked the Gregory Crewdson photography. His photographs gives you the feelings of suspense and lonliness. I might use some inspiration from his work.

This photograph is taken by Duane Michals american photographer. Michals' work makes innovative use of photo-sequences, often incorporating text to examine emotion and philosophy. In this photograph he's investigating love-life and death-emotion and philosophy, known as, "PARADISE REGAINED". In this he showed how modern life changes to natural green in a narrative photography, which i liked the most. The way he choosed to express this idea is wonderfull. I liked the idea because we need greenary in today's world. we are loosing nature day by day as modernity taking over it but this is good way to spread the idea.
